Accessibility Statement

Stefanie Kruse | reThink Product is committed to providing this website and associated contact and customer support systems in a way that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance or ability.

As a sole proprietor of this B2B business, I voluntarily strive to adhere as much as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, Level AA) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This standard explains how web content can be made more accessible for people with disabilities. Adhering to it helps to make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

This document describes my efforts to comply with this standard.

This statement contains:

  • A description of my past and current accessibility efforts
  • Known barriers and workarounds (where possible) for these barriers
  • Contact information for accessibility issues

Efforts towards digital accessibility

When I founded my business, I already included digital accessibility in my mission statement and company values. My efforts relate in particular to

  • Training on digital accessibility through (online) training courses lasting several weeks
  • Consideration of accessibility requirements when selecting software and third-party tools both for the website and for company processes in sales, customer service and contract processing
  • Designing this website in accordance with accessibility requirements, in particular
    • Using responsive design
    • Simplifying the user interface through a clear structure of pages and content
    • Designing navigation intuitively
    • Using easy-to-understand language and meaningful headings
    • Using legible fonts
    • Allowing users to change the font size at will via the browser
    • Using high color contrasts
    • Identifying and labeling elements to make content easier to read for screen readers
    • Using meaningful anchor texts that match the content of the linked page
    • Labeling links that open in a new browser window
    • Integrating alt texts for media content
    • Ensuring that the website can be operated using a keyboard and mouse
    • Avoiding non-essential animations and creating options for pausing or switching them off
  • Carrying out regular website audits to check and improve accessibility

Known problems and possible workarounds

While I strive to adhere to the WCAG 2.2, Level AA standard for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and my business processes. I am constantly working to achieve this and am always looking for solutions to bring all areas of the website to the same level of digital accessibility.

Please note that due to the dynamic nature of the website, there may occasionally be issues as the website is regularly updated.

The following restrictions are currently known:

Internet Explorer support

As Internet Explorer is no longer supported and further developed by Microsoft, some content may not be displayed correctly. Accessibility measures (such as an always visible focus indicator) may also not work. As the popularity of Internet Explorer has fallen sharply in recent years and is now probably less than 1%, this browser is no longer supported. You can use another modern browser instead of Internet Explorer.
